Model 4360 Residential Five Stage Reverse Osmosis Unit comes with tap, tubing, feed valve, take off for mains, storage tank for filtered water and full fitting instructions. The first stage removes particles of rust, sand, and sediment while the second and third stages are carbon block filters to remove chlorine, odours and unpleasant tastes. The fourth stage is a reverse osmosis membrane (0.001 micron) which substantially removes heavy metals, salts, sugars, proteins, residues from herbicides and pesticides, carcinogenic compounds of chlorine, viruses and bacterial micro-organisms. Scale is completely removed. The fifth stage is a ‘final touch’ coconut grade activated carbon filter.

Note:
Constant water pressure of 1.5 bar minimum is necessary for correct operation of this unit, booster pump models are also available. Reverse Osmosis systems are not normally required on Local Authority controlled water supplies and are generally installed only where particular water conditions apply.
